I have been watching this show from the beginning. I always loved Wentworth Miller and I loved the concept for Prison Break. One day on Fox there was a marathon and I got hooked. The quick pace, tension filled episodes kept me on the edge of my seat not to mention that it was about brothers. I have a thing for brothers in TV and movies. Michael Scofield was one of the most compelling characters on TV and every thought he had fascinated me. I feel like I've seen him change throughout the seasons and watched everything happen to him.

And now...he's dead. I mean he didn't die by a bullet or something that usually killed other characters on the show but he's still dead.

It was an awesome episode though. It kept me on the edge of my seat like all the other episodes and at the end tears came to my eyes. Michael and Sarah's son? Is adorable. Why did he have to die? Seriously? Couldn't they have just lived happily ever after? I guess the fact that everyone else is okay was the happily ever after but I just am really upset. Lol. One hell of an episode though. That last scene? Where Lincoln put the crane on the grave? Oh yeah, that got me.

And now for a crossover with SPN! Lincoln totally makes a deal with a crossroads demon, yep! And gets ten years and in ten years Sam and Dean come and help them get out of the deal because they can totally sympathize. Oh yeah. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

In other news...SUPERNATURAL WAS AMAZING ADLJFNAKDFHA. THE BOYS ARE TOGETHER. And not apart! Or dead. Yay! Is excited. Is it September yet? Chuck and Cas are totally riding in the Impala next season, yep.

Oh boys.

Oh yeah and I signed up for Summergen, finally. I wish I had thought more about my prompts but I'm okay with them. I have a good feeling about this!

Oh how I love Supernatural Summer gen. I really do. But I can't think of prompts. Okay, so I have like two in mind. I had a few the other day. I think I need to start writing them down. I blame SATs, ACTs, APs and SAT 2s.

I'm going to miss Prison Break. I really am. I don't want it to end. :( And I really want Dollhouse to come back. I at least have to have one Fox show that I still watch, okay well there's still Bones.

Anyone watching the Unusuals? I find it highly entertaining.

And boys, Dean and Sammy, please, please be brothers again. I see where this is going and although I have faith in you I am highly nervous. That episode was awesome though. Cas=love. I feel bad for Jimmy though. Poor guy.

Recently I've found some amazing books. Seriously. I just finished Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta and I am in awe of this book. It was just so excellent. I really wish that there was more but I just felt like there was so much closure in the way it ended that I feel very content right now.

Title: Jellicoe Road

Author: Melina Marchetta

Summary: Taylor Markham was abandoned on Jellicoe road, the prettiest road she'd ever seen, when she was eleven and ten years later is confronted by her past when Hannah, the closest thing she has to family disappears, and Jonah, a boy she'd rather forget, comes back to town.

Pages: 418

Rating: 5 out of 5 Impalas

I have to admit I'm not a fan of books about real life and if I had known what I would have been confronted with in the book, drugs, death, abandonment, I might have picked another book but I am so glad I read this. It was fantastic. It's set in Australia which is really cool. I just loved Taylor, she's such a strong character and even though this book was 418 pages it felt like it was shorter. I couldn't put it down. I loved that this took me to two different times, Taylor's past and her present and the characters were so reach and delightful I really want to be their friends. Oh and I laughed out loud a couple of times with it and that is always a plus. Any book that combines sad, action, and funny in one? Is amazing. Give this a read!

In other news new Dollhouse tonight! I'm excited because it'll give me something to do since I'm sick. I have this weird throat thing that really sucks out loud. I also have two AP tests coming up and SATs so every minute that I'm not breathing, sleeping or going to the bathroom is spent with my face buried in my review books. Invigorating. I just want my boys back. But I think it's a good thing that it doesn't come back until the 23rd because that means I have time to study.

I LOVE DOLLHOUSE.

It's interesting, funny, and just keeps me wanting more.

It will never replace my show, Supernatural, of course. But you don't get much kick-ass women and Whedon on Supernatural, so this is my other show. Love it.

And next week? YAY!

They aren't withholding information from us but they keep us guessing. I like that. Unlike Lost which drags something out for so long that by the time a new season starts again you forget what questions you want answered. Yeah, I'm pretty happy with this show.

I want some doll!Dean now, Doll as in active. I wonder what his name would be. I think I read something where he was November. Heh, what about Zulu. Nice.

Flist? Any other Dollhouse fans? Now I want a Dollhouse icon....

I don't know why but I love books about post-apocalypse, dystopian societies so when I heard about The Hunger Games I was really excited. And dude OMG, I had every right to be. Not only did this book continue to keep me excited through out it but it basically made me cry and also laugh and I was really happy with it. And it also kept me at the edge of my seat too, which you know helps.

So I'm going to review it for ya, okay? Good.

Summary: Meet Katniss Everdeen, basic breadwinner for her family since her father died, she lives in the Seam, the poor area of town, in District 12 of Panem. Panem is the ruins of America and from what I can tell District 12 is the New York area. There's twelve districts of Panem and a capitol. Katniss's district makes coal, and her father died in a mining accident.

Every year the capitol forces the kids of each district to partake in a reaping, where each kid from age 12 to 18 has their names put into a pot and two names are chosen to be the tributes of their districts. The tributes go on to The Hunger Games, a sadistic and gruesome kind of battle where the kids have to kill each other off. (Seriously at this part I was having flashbacks to All Hell Breaks Loose Pt. 1 and 2) Katniss has her name in the pot twenty-four times. Her little sister, Prim, has it in once. The odds are that if anyone were to be chosen, it were to be Katniss. But fate does not like Katniss Everdeen and her sister gets chosen. As is customary in the games, a person does get to volunteer to go in place for the other chosen. (At this I was thinking of my own story Drawing Straws) Katniss of course goes in her sister's place. And then starts Katniss's journey. She becomes known as the "Girl who was on fire" and She has to try to survive against Career tributes, kids who are trained their whole lives for the games, and Peeta Mellark, who she can’t help feeling like she owes him.

This book was amazing, so amazing. I adored it. I loved how protective Katniss was over Prim and I loved Katniss in general. So much better than Bella. This book was just great.

And it has a sequel coming out in September and a movie coming out I don't know when. But the author is writing the adaption, which is promising and LionsGate has the rights. That makes me excited.

So yeah, I recommend this book to anyone looking for something to read! It was amazing. Funny, sad, and it made me angry at this government that doesn't even exist. Just awesome.

Got anything that you read was amazing too? Let me know!

Just finished reading Peace Like A River by Leif Enger and all I can say is whoa. What an amazing book. I was drawn in by the characters, the prose and the story and I felt that I was reading about my own family. I used to be wary of the books I read and only read what I felt I was familiar with, the idea of a family going following their brother across the country interested me, but I wasn't sure it was enough to keep me reading. I'm glad I finally got it though.

I would recommend this book to anyone, it's an excellent read. It's comfortable and warm and just so perfect. I have to admit that I saw a little of myself in Swede and was able to sympathize with Rube. And the ending, no matter how sorrowful and unexpected it was, was amazing. Thank you Leif Enger for a great tale.

So those of you who are looking for something to read, I would call it an epic read, I would try Peace Like A River.

Summary: Eleven year old Reuben Land is an asthmatic boy who has reason to believe in miracles. Along with his sister and father, Reuben finds himself on a cross-country search for his outlaw older brother who has been controversially charged with murder.

I'm writing a novel about football. Do I know anything about football? Nope, not really. All I really have is memories of watching it with my Dad, angry he turned off Full House on me. But they say write what you know and the rest of the story I want to tell isn't about football but about something else. Football just happens to be a side thing. It doesn't help that recently I've gotten into Friday Night Lights or that I've been playing a what-if game of my life.

So, small flist of mine, what can you tell me about football? Or novel writing? I know I have many writers on there.

I really want to do this and I should probably have a plan and a way of working on it that leaves me satisfied with what I've managed but won't require me to pull my hair out. Any ideas? I've got 8,481 words so far, several openings and a big gap between what will be the first part of the story and the second. In the words of the cute kid Bo, OH BOY.

I'm pretty happy with that. With the week I had I'm glad I got a word down. So breaking five thousand is good. I just hope I'm able to stick with this story. I'm pretty passionate about it though and I really like the characters and back story I have set up. So I guess we'll see.

Eh, whatever what's the point of having a livejournal if you never post anything in it, right? New Years Revolution # 1: Post on Livejournal more.

So, I'm a bad writer. I've realized this because:

1. My Grammar? Sucks. Needs improvement, loads of it. That can be worked on but still, a good writer would have worked on that already. I've been writing for nine years and although during that time I was still learning vocabulary and grammar I still should have been ahead of the game. That brings me to New Years Resolution #2: Fix my grammar.

2. I'm not motivated. If I was a good writer I would be motivated and want to write everyday like all the successful writers tell me too. New Years Resolution #3: Get some more inspiration.

3. I have to many too many ideas, and I get sidetracked. I'll start on one and then suddenly get another one and I'll get really excited and I'll want to write that one instead of the other one. Eeek. New Years Resolution #4: Learn how to stay focused.

4. I'm always waiting for help. Or I want to talk my ideas out with someone and I'll put the story on hold until I talk about it. So yeah, the fifth New Years Resolution would be to be able to be independent.

5. Having said number four, the fifth reason is that when I do talk to people about it I get discouraged because I can never articulate my ideas in the way I see them in my head. NYSR #6: Don't worry about what others think.

6. Fanfiction vs. Original. Sometimes all I want to write about is the boys. What Dean did here? What if this happened to Sam? What if this happened to the boys when they were growing up? I can't write a book on fanfiction, well I could but I doubt it would be a best seller right? So I need to learn how to find a balance so I can focus on both. That's the seventh NYSR.

So yeah, I don't even know why I posted this. I want to fix all of these. I want to become a good writer. I want to write a novel and lots of fanfic, I want to expand my ideas and make what I see on the page, what I see in my head. That make sense? Okay, I'm good. Night, or good morning or whatever.

Because I can't write fic at the moment I might as well rec my favorites.

The Brotherhood AU. This needs to be recc'd. Some people don't read AU's because they are afraid of the great difference between the world they know and love and the world the author created. While Ridley's stories have some major differences from Canon they are still amazing. The Brotherhood introduces us to a secret society of hunters, where every hunter wears a ring and every hunter follows the Guardian, Knight and Scholar. Ridley gives more depth to Pastor Jim and has made him the Guardian. He's very lovable and I really wish we would have gotten more of him on the show. She has made John the Knight, and a very awesome OC named Mackland Ames, is the Scholar. We are also introduced to Caleb Reaves, the same Caleb we hear about on the show. Ridley has given him a whole interesting story. I absolutely love him. The first story I would read in the Brotherhood AU is What Calebs Do. From there I would read Heroes. Heroes.

And for all you readers and writers out there please check out [info]salepni's journal and help out with a paper. Thanks!
